I am Ricky Byrum. Singer, songwriter, performer, producer.

I have been a musician for several years now. I was born and raised on the east coast and the beach certainly has had an effect on my music. Thus, tracks titled "Tranquility".

I was into music at a very early age. Watching everything from blues, R&B, ROCK, and other forms on the tv turned me on to a diverse culture. It seems each instrument I play comes out with it's own genre. When I play acoustically, think pretty. When I play distortion I want it hard and heavy. As well when I play bass, I want it funky and and powerful.

Now that I am singing, it all transposed in the same way to voices. I have always had a knack for writing and arranging songs. Even more so than ever playing cover songs. I write what I feel and want to express. I have been told that to really get to know me, one must listen carefully to my songs.
